ABOUT THE WILD WAY
Before following Jesus was called Christianity, it was referred to as "the Way." As people experienced restoration with God, others, themselves, and creation, the Way became known for its powerful expression of love and peace.
Sadly, however, many of us today have lost our way. We live overly busy lives and are surrounded by inaccurate images of God, bad interpretations of the Bible, and hurtful experiences in church communities. Rather than express powerful love and sacrificial compassion, we get caught up in chaotic living and we see churches whose theology, practices, and political activity cause human and environmental suffering.
Jesus has become a domesticated and convenient means to an end, rather than the Way of Life. His voice in our lives is drowned out by many other voices hawking cheap imitations.
WILD is an urban spiritual formation movement that helps people discover (or re-discover) the untamed God and awaken to God's consuming tenderness. We offer content, tools, and experiences that allow people to hear Jesus, move toward wellness, and be fully alive as Jesus intends them to be...
